L.P. Hatch • 1st Assistant Golf Professional

L.P. grew up under the majestic back drop of the Grand Tetons in Driggs, Idaho, where he found his love for the game of golf. His passion and talents led him to play collegiately at Dixie State University in St. George, Utah. During his time at Dixie State he honed his game to a level that helped Dixie State to two straight conference titles and a runner-up finish in the 2002 NJCAA National Championships in Scottsdale, Arizona. Upon completion of his college education he followed his love of golf south to Palm Valley Golf Club in Goodyear, Arizona. While at Palm Valley, he blossomed into an integral part of the professional staff, always enjoying the opportunity to teach and work with golfers of all ages and abilities. After seven very successful seasons in the desert he decided to make a move to the wonderful state of CO in the spring of 2012 where L.P. received and accepted a job offer from Colorado National Golf Club in North Denver. He was very excited to move to a part of the country that sees all four seasons much like his home state of Idaho. At Colorado National he bolstered his talents as a Golf Professional by introducing several programs, ranging from a successful winter junior program to a fun women’s wine and nine golf lesson playing series. During his six year tenure at Colorado National he saw a rise in participation in the men’s, women’s and couples club events. L.P. is joining the PGA of America as an apprentice and actively pursuing his goal of receiving a class “A” PGA membership.
